Yael Zakai Cannon, JD is an associate professor of law at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC. She also serves as director of the medical-legal partnership Health Justice Alliance Law Clinic and as a faculty fellow at the Georgetown University Center for Social Justice Research, Teaching, and Service. She received a JD from Stanford Law School and a BA in history and in African American Studies from the University of Maryland. Her research interests focus on the potential for law to promote health equity, well-being, and justice for children and families.
