Jeannie P. Cimiotti, PhD, RN is an associate professor at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing and Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She is also an adjunct associate professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr Cimiotti’s research focuses on the nursing workforce, the transmission of hospital-onset infections, and organizational features of acute care hospitals that are associated with poor nurse and patient outcomes.
