Roma Subramanian, PhD is an assistant professor in the School of Communication at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she is also on the medical humanities faculty. Her research focuses on health communication regarding stigmatized disorders and has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Health Communication, Health Education & Behavior, Critical Public Health, and the Journal of Visual Communication in Medicine.
