Azadeh Shahshahani, JD, MA is legal and advocacy director at ProjectSouth, which recently filed a whistleblower complaint with the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General documenting serious health and safety violations at a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center.
