Laurie Sellars, MA is an associate research scholar and the postgraduate fellow with the Law, Ethics & Animals Program at Yale Law School in New Haven, Connecticut. She received an MA in animal studies from New York University, where her work examined humans’ use of nonhuman animals in tourism and xenotransplantation and assessed the impacts of COVID-19 on nonhuman animals. Her research focuses on humans’ interactions with and exploitation of nonhuman animals.
